SASATIX POLICIES
SasaTix policies
Draft policy version 0.1 · Last updated 29 October 2026
01 — TERMS OF USE
Buying tickets through SasaTix
- Each ticket is for the named event and is subject to the organiser’s stated entry rules, venue rules, age limits, and safety requirements.
- Tickets may not be copied, resold, or used for unlawful or fraudulent activity. SasaTix may cancel tickets where fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected.
- SasaTix provides ticketing technology; the organiser is responsible for delivering the event unless SasaTix is named as organiser.
- Event times, line-ups, venue, and programme can change. Material changes will be communicated using the contact details provided at purchase.
02 — REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
When things change
- Set a clear rule for each event: whether tickets are refundable, transferable, and the deadline for a request.
- If an event is cancelled by an organiser, explain who processes the refund, the expected timeline, and whether booking fees are refundable.
- For a material reschedule or material change, state the attendee’s available options, including any deadline to request a refund where applicable.
- Keep a visible support channel and a fair complaints route; never promise a refund policy you cannot administer.
04 — MEDIA POLICY
Photography and recordings
- Some events may be photographed, filmed, or recorded for event coverage, promotion, and community updates. The event page and venue should display a clear notice before entry.
- Where consent is used, it must be separate, clear, and recorded. An attendee can decline media consent; event teams should provide a reasonable way to flag or honour that request where practical.
- For children and minors, obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before using identifiable images or recordings.
- Event organisers must not use media in a misleading, harmful, or unlawful manner, and must follow any withdrawal or objection process stated in the policy.
03 — PRIVACY NOTICE
How we handle personal data
- Collect only what is needed to process the order, send the ticket, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
- Tell attendees why data is collected, who receives it (for example the event organiser and payment providers), retention periods, and how to contact SasaTix about their data.
- Marketing is optional and separate from buying a ticket. Attendees can withdraw marketing consent at any time.
- For event photography or recordings, use an event-specific notice or consent process. Do not make it a condition of buying a ticket unless genuinely necessary and legally justified.
